Bob: A Creative Spirit Gives to Others
Bob was a prolific artist who had an exciting and rewarding career. Painting, advertising management, commercial art, product developmentBob could do it all.
Bob worked in oils, watercolors, and acrylics, in stained glass and in clay. He produced seascapes, landscapes, and still-lifes. Bob taught classes and workshops, wrote articles for national art magazines, and worked on videos for Cable TV. The Courage Center regularly commissioned him for their yearly Christmas cards, and billions of Deluxe checks display background scenes painted by Bob (which might make him the most printed artist in the country!). Bob's art hangs in the Pentagon, and he has worked on aviation projects for the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
All passes. Art alone endures.
Bob's art touched so many people, and he will live on through his artistic creations. But Bob will live on another way as well. In 2006, he donated his eyes to the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank. And now Bob also lives on through two cornea transplant recipients.
