Donor Sabbath

Every November, many faith communities across the country observe National Donor Sabbath and increase the
awareness of eye, organ, tissue, blood, and marrow donation.

During National Donor Sabbath, please encourage your worship community to incorporate the Donor Sabbath message into sermons, print materials, lessons, and activities. If you have a personal donation or transplantation story, offer to share it with your community.

Donation saves or improves lives and is an act of compassion and generosity. Donation can provide comfort to grieving family members, as their loved one's gifts help others.
