Lions Tours at the University of Minnesota

U of M East Bank, Minneapolis, Minn.
Lions gather at the University of Minnesota to tour the sight and hearing facilities that they help support. See firsthand how Lions dollars are used to benefit those with sight and hearing challenges.
Tours include the Lions Children's Eye Clinic, Lions Macular Degeneration Center, and Minnesota Lions Eye Bank in the Department of Ophthalmology, and the Lions Children's Hearing Center, Lions 5M Hearing Center, and Lions Voice Clinic in the Department of Otolaryngology. Tour guests are treated to lunch and have the option to visit the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank lab in Saint Paul and the Hearing and Service Dogs facility in Minneapolis after the University tour.

Thanksgiving for Vision

Thanksgiving for Vision is an annual celebration that recognizes the commitment that goes into restoring, preserving, and enhancing vision.
Guests are treated to an educational symposium where they learn about the ophthalmology research and clinical work being done at the University of Minnesota thanks to the Lions. Those attending then mingle with cornea recipients, doctors, Lions members, and eye bank staff at a delicious luncheon. Luncheon speakers include an eye donor family member and a cornea recipient.
